Agreement and scope
These terms govern your use of Wishloom Books and purchases made through the store. By using the service or placing an order, you agree to these terms and the policies linked from them. If you do not agree, do not place an order or continue using an account feature.
Eligibility and accounts
You must have the legal capacity to enter into the transaction, or act with the involvement and authority of a parent or legal guardian. You are responsible for accurate account and order information, keeping access credentials confidential, and activity reasonably attributable to your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
We may require reasonable verification before changing sensitive details, releasing a paid file, processing a refund, or disclosing account information.
Product information
We aim to describe products, formats, age guidance, availability, previews, and prices accurately. Screen colours, print finishes, and dimensions may vary slightly. Age recommendations are guidance, not a promise that every product suits every child. Read the product page and format details before purchase.
If a material error is discovered before fulfilment, we may contact you to correct or cancel the affected item and return any captured amount. Mandatory rights relating to inaccurate or misleading information remain unaffected.
Orders and acceptance
Submitting an order is an offer to buy the selected products. An automated acknowledgement confirms receipt, not necessarily acceptance. Acceptance occurs when we confirm the order for fulfilment, grant access to a digital product, or dispatch a physical product, as applicable.
We may decline or cancel an order for reasonable grounds, including unavailability, payment failure, suspected fraud, misuse, an obvious pricing error, legal restriction, or an unsupported delivery destination. We will communicate the outcome and handle captured funds appropriately.
Prices and payment
Prices and charges are displayed in Bangladeshi taka (BDT) unless clearly stated otherwise. The checkout summary shows the product total, discounts, shipping, and other applicable charges before confirmation. You authorise the selected payment method for the amount shown.
Payment processing may be provided by a third party and may be subject to that provider's terms. Do not submit a false transaction reference, use a payment method without authority, or attempt to reverse a legitimate payment fraudulently.
Digital products and licence
When you buy a digital product, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for the purpose and audience described on the product page. Ownership of intellectual property does not transfer to you.
Unless the product licence expressly permits it, you may not:
- share, resell, sublicense, publish, upload, or distribute the file or download link;
- remove a watermark or rights notice;
- provide access through a shared drive, public classroom repository, marketplace, or file-sharing service; or
- use the content to create a competing product or dataset.
Reasonable device changes and replacement downloads may be subject to account, security, and download controls. Contact us if a legitimate purchase becomes inaccessible.
Physical products, delivery, and returns
Physical fulfilment follows our shipping and delivery policy. Check the delivery address before placing an order and make reasonable arrangements to receive it. Cancellation, defects, returns, and refunds follow our returns and refunds policy, together with applicable law.
Promotions, reviews, and submitted content
A promotion may have its own eligibility, date, product, minimum-spend, and usage rules. Promotions cannot be combined unless stated and may be withdrawn prospectively, but we will not alter an already accepted order without a lawful basis.
If you submit a review or other public content, it must be honest, relevant, and based on genuine experience. Do not submit unlawful, abusive, deceptive, infringing, private, or promotional content. You permit us to display and format submitted content for operating and promoting the service, while you retain ownership of your original content. We may moderate or remove content that violates these rules.
Acceptable use
Do not interfere with the service, bypass access or download controls, probe for vulnerabilities, introduce harmful code, scrape at a disruptive scale, impersonate another person, misuse personal information, or use Wishloom Books for unlawful or fraudulent activity. We may limit or suspend access proportionately to protect customers, rights holders, and the service, subject to applicable law.
Intellectual property
The Wishloom Books service, branding, design, software, catalog material, and supplied content are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. Publisher, author, illustrator, and third-party rights remain with their respective owners. No permission is granted except the limited use expressly stated in these terms or the relevant product licence.
Service availability
We work to keep the service secure and available, but maintenance, faults, third-party systems, connectivity, or events beyond reasonable control may interrupt access. We may improve or change features while protecting accepted orders, paid entitlements, and mandatory rights. Where reasonably possible, we will restore affected service or provide an appropriate alternative.
Responsibility and remedies
Each party remains responsible to the extent required by applicable law. To the maximum extent permitted, Wishloom Books is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss, a customer's incompatible device where requirements were disclosed, misuse of a product, or delay caused by events outside reasonable control. Nothing here limits responsibility or a remedy that law does not allow us to limit.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. If a concern arises, contact us first with the order reference and a clear description so we can try to resolve it promptly. You may also use any court, regulator, or consumer-protection process available to you under applicable law.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms for service, security, operational, or legal reasons. The effective date identifies the current version. Changes apply prospectively unless law requires otherwise; an accepted order remains governed by the terms and information applicable when it was placed, except where a lawful change must apply.
